About Glamorous

It was in 2006, when children’s dance group ‘Glamorous’ was formed by a Russian Choreographer and Fitness trainer Gulnara Alekseeva, at the capital’s Abu Dhabi Ladies Club. From the time of making first performances at the Cultural Foundation Theatre, Glamorous appeared in Abu Dhabi’s and Dubai’s graduation ceremonies, awards and VIP parties, always leaving a great impression.

Our dance crew is very friendly and features children from different parts of the world: UAE, Russia, France, Great Britain, Australia, Ukraine, Lebanon, Egypt, India, Syria and more. Girls are aged from 4 to 18 years old.

Annually, girls deliver a great ‘Hollywood’ like show, which brings together more than 800 people, for a single show! From the time Glamorous became independent, this show became open to the public and now enjoys great popularity with families. The annual two-hour long concert is filled with happiness and surprises, that even regular visitors do not expect. It is annually supported by Her Highness Sheikha Fatma Bint Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The professional dancer Gulnara Alekseeva came to the UAE in 1997. Due to circumstances, she decided to increase her education and get various different qualifications of a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She is now a certified trainer of American Council on Exercise and a holder in many exercise science diplomas. In order to advance, she decided to take a different direction and is now a certified Stott Pilates teacher as well as a Les Mills certified instructor.
